The Club holds numerous activities designed to cater for varying levels of expertise and interests in photography, including:
- Competitions – separated into different categories to cater for different levels of knowledge and preference. Please see the Competitions Section for more information.
- Lectures – lectures by experts in particular fields of photography are very popular. Subjects may vary widely; talks on using Photoshop are always well attended!
- Workshops – the Club runs at least one or two in-house workshops per year; print matting & mounting is extremely popular. The Club also runs out-door workshops on subjects such as Natural Light Portraiture.
- Outings – the Club organises outings to various locations with photographic potential at least once a year.
- Question & Answer – the Club frequently runs a Q&A session at regular Club meetings where Members may raise questions about anything related to photography. It’s surprising how often other Members know the answer!
- Exhibitions – the Club holds exhibitions from time to time of Member’s work at various locations in the Shire, including the Phee Broadway Theatre, restaurants, galleries and the Market Building Information Centre.
